Down the days we play,
dusk to dawn we clown,
leader and led in a yin-yang dance:
fiddle to bow,
bone to fat,
eye to light,
sun to moon,
steaming broth to stirring spoon,
sleep to dream,
wind to sail,
silent hammer to singing nail.
I play you, you play me,
fisherman to flitting fish,
not even caring which is which.
